The Shire of Ravensthorpe secured the help of WCP Civil to carry out a mammoth landfill project, which included (but was not limited to) clearing 7 hectares of land, 60,000m3 of land filling, 18,000m2 of road and access surfacing, and the construction of a leachate pond and evaporation basin including the supply and installation of geofabric and geosynthetic clay liners. The successful roll out of this project led to other works in Ravensthorpe including reconstruction of the town centre and the main street.
