Cold planning and widening of the existing tarmac taxi way was required at the RAAF airbase in Perth. Particular specifications and procedures were required to be met within a very short production timeline. In addition, sections of the runway were shutdown whilst the works were completed, leaving only a small window of opportunity to get the job done to minimise any downtime.
